Description

This is the AirDog I FP-150 fuel system for the 1998.5-2004 VP44 and early CP3 Cummins. This system mounts to the frame rail using the supplied sandwich plate mounting system. A 1/2" draw straw is used to pull fuel from the tank. The pressure side connects directly to the VP44 or CP3 injection pump, bypassing the factory fuel filter housing. The AirDog Air/Vapor return is sent back to the tank through a filler neck tee. This is a 150GPH (Gallon Per Hour) fuel system. Check out our installation manual for a list of parts that are included with this kit.

  • Quality product and easy install
Alright fellers….installed on a 04 5.9 Cummins. Was having fuel/cranking issues with the little turd lift pump on there factory. I’m talking crank for 3 (30 second) intervals and then run like a dog drag ass on the carpet pitiful. 2-3 hour install, bled the system and she fired right up on within 2 starting rotations. Granted also put in a fuel bowl delete at the same time. Engine “sounds” healthier and runs much smoother. Spools faster and runs like a scared rabbit. I know she’s pricey boys but save your Penny’s and give this kit a go. Ya won’t be disappointed and hell, way cheaper than injectors and a pump! ... show more

  • Great pump, great price!
Very powerful pump. Adequate instructions. Everything you need to do the install is included, minus a hole saw bit. I recommend going to Lowe's or Depot, or Menard's if you have one, and getting the multi pack of hole saw bits for $20. You may want to also grab a few extra zip ties(harbor freight has the best price) if you want to absolutely ensure the lines are secure! All in all, very satisfied! ... show more

  • Perfect fit for my 1999 Dodge Cummins
Was delivered quickly and had almost everything in the box to complete the project. I didn't use the draw straw and installed a sump. Pump is quiet and maintains 15PSI easily at WOT, I installed mine on the outside of the frame right by the existing in-tank pump. Had about 2 feet of extra hose that I was able to trim which gave me comfort that there would be enough to mount it in different positions on the frame. I also liked that they included the 17PSI spring which I did install and does maintain the correct 17PSI at WOT as well. ... show more

  • Seems to work well. Cheesey brackets and draw straw ...
Seems to work well. Cheesey brackets and draw straw for the price. Ended up buying a Vulcan Diesel QC draw straw (does not require drilling holes in the tank). Does not come with a filter restriction indicator.

  • 1 month then Pumo goes out
Installed the Airdog, worked great for about 3 weeks. The pump has now stopped working. Which means bad pump. I've replaced the working harness, fuse, relay ect. The pump went out before being installed for 1 month. Hopefully the warranty will be good even though I ordered through Amazon
