  • Great product, easy on the pocketbook.
Ease of install, should make a interchange list for Caterpillar filters

Works well and hooked up easily enough. I was just surprised at how hot the fuel was when I bled it for the initial prime. Would be a good idea to plug the return from the engine and maybe run the fuel through the fuel cooler after it is compressed and heated. I don't know that may be more trouble than any possible gains. Other than that it's fulfilling it's purpose which is saving my cp3 pump. My fuel mileage actually went down but that is probably due to my engine actually getting what it has been demanding. ... show more

  • Get it if you want to save your fuel system
Love the system. Makes my durmax run like a champ. System is pretty loud however.

Airdog used to be a good product. I owned one from Dec 2010 until June 2015. The original lasted 2.5 years, then I had 3 warranty replacements after that. The last replacement only lasted 4 months. With the last 3 replacements, the electric motor filled itself with diesel from a failed O-Ring between the electric motor and pump itself. I have went to FASS and have been pleased so far. No I do not work for FASS and have not been paid for this review. I am just a unhappy customer who has purchased one more expensive lift pump than I should have. After later research, it seems a lot of folks have had this problem with AirDog. Please do a little research about Airdog if you plan on purchasing this, and you will see what I mean. Pro's: Quiet Pump Cons: Poor motor/pump design Awkward mounting bracket for later service ... show more

  • Buy it!
Well worth the money, easy to install with a bit of mechanical aptitude. Have had one on my 02 Cummins for nearly 10 years and haven’t had one problem, so I figured I’d buy one for my 02 LB7 Duramax.
