I put this in an ez dump insert in A pickup truck. It is wired with 4 gauge cca wire also from Amazon. It still had lots of line drop from that so I put a second battery in the bed so it's drawing from both batteries. It struggles to lift 1.5 tons. The fulcrum point on the dump insert is kind of towards the back but on something like a dump trailer it should provide more mechanical advantage. I might look into messing with the pressure but I had to give it a helping hand once I got about a third of the way up ... show more

Nice unit. I added some rubber under tank to fill air gap and a clamp to clamp her down slightly. Some young guys gonna be running this truck. Its going to get worked hard.
