This small pump has really been a big help around the ranch. As I'm getting older, I've been finding it increasingly difficult to fuel my tractor and ranch vehicles. I've added up many injuries and aches and pains over the years and it's been harder to pick up those 5 gallon diesel cans and pour them at the top of my hood on the tractor. By adding a couple of hoses to this pump and attaching to a 12V battery, I just put the suction hose in the can on the ground and put the output hose in the filler neck and transfer the fuel easily and quickly. This pump is a high quality pump that is made for transferring diesel fuels and oils from one place to another. (DO NOT PUMP ANY FLAMABLE LIQUIDS LIKE GASOLINE) This pump comes with fittings, a pickup filter and alligator clips to connect to a battery. The pump is fitted with a nice carry handle and seems to be a high quality pump. You will only need to add hoses and a battery to get it to work. After I used the pump a few times, I made it more convenient to use by adding a board to the bottom of the pump for better stability and a hose shutoff valve for more precise filling without spilling when full. I highly recommend this pump because of the high quality and value for the money. Set it up to suit your needs and make life a little easier.

A fuel transfer pump is almost a necessity on any farm, and this one makes moving diesel much simpler. Whether you’re transferring fuel from a 55-gallon drum into equipment or recovering diesel from broken-down machinery into another tank, it handles the job efficiently. The pump is rated to lift up to 32 feet, so head pressure isn’t much of a concern. That’s useful if equipment is sitting above the fuel source or if you’re pulling fuel up and out of a low spot. It’s designed for non-explosive fuels and heavier oils like diesel, which is exactly what it’s intended for in a farm setting. One downside is the fairly short alligator clip leads. They work, but there isn’t much reach. I personally prefer swapping them out for a quick-disconnect setup with an SAE connector for easier and more flexible hookups. Overall, it’s a practical, time-saving tool that fills a real need around the farm.

Nice pump, well packaged with all the fittings needed to attach a 1" hose. I found this pump to be well designed and just what I need to transfer my used motor oil from a 55 gal storage drum to a smaller drum I use for a oil burner. This also would make a great little pump to fuel up your diesel tractor out in the field. I've not times the flow, but 45 Liter is 11.8 gallons, so your looking at up to 11.8 gal a minute flow rate for thinner fluids like diesel and kerosene, motor oils will obviously will flow at a slower rate, but with a 1" hose, it will still be quick. The only thing I would have designed differently would be a longer power wire, but that is not a big deal. This is still a good value for your money. Side note, One could buy a 3/4" x 3/4 or even 3/4" 1/2" nipple to use a smaller hose, but keep in mind that it will lower the flow rate. I only mention this because a 1" discharge hose is a lot of hose and might make it difficult to use in some cases.

This pump is a quality made item,not cheap plastic. It is made to function properly and to last if taken care of. That said, this pump will transfer, heavy oils, kerosene, diesel fuel. Any heavy liquid that doesn't give off explosive gasses! This is made to be powered by the vehicles battery, and it connects with standard Alligator style clamps. It's a near certainty at some point while connecting or disconnecting you will have at least a spark. If gasoline you just blew yourself up. This is an excellent pump that works fantastic and at this price point a great value..just remember heavy oils, fuels etc..nothing with flammable off gassing vapors !

Great diesel/kerosene fuel pump. The pump is NOT designed for gasoline. Gasoline pumps are designed differently because of the flammability and vapor pressure differences. The pump does not include any hoses or clamps. I measured the included fittings at about an inch. The weight of the pump is just over 6 lbs. The pump is compact and relies on a 12 volt battery power supply. Great pump for transferring diesel fuel from one tank to another. Easy to use.
