Doesn't work! I've tested it and although the relays click for both sides. There's no current output. I have used these in the past and 3 worked, 1 only had one direction working, the relay for one direction quit working but at least it had power output on one side but it also operated on it's own. This one has no output at all. Buy at your own risk.

Instructions are terrible! Remote range is greatly improved by leaving antenna wire outside of the housing! In housing range around 30', out of housing range over 100' Quality remotes with slide cover to prevent accidental operation

I bought this set up for my car trailer winch. After getting it all wired up, first time testing it, one if the remotes didn’t work correctly. When the “out” button was pushed it would only work about one out of every four or five times. Not good. Worse, when pushing the “in” button, even after releasing the button, it would continue reeling the winch in. Potentially super dangerous! The button didn’t seem to be sticking. It seems like it’s something in the remote circuit board. The other remote works fine, and my hardwired control works fine. As cool as having a wireless remote fob to control the winch is, I’m pretty wary using it, and I don’t trust it won’t fail me. I find myself mostly just plugging in the wired controller. Not worth tearing all back apart and returning, but disappointed. Epic fail.

Replacement receiver with two controllers. Just match color code wires. Easy to replace. The controllers are on demand not like most where have to hold button till light comes on. They have slide protective door so not to hit button when not in use. Priced right. And could not believe the distance this this picks up.
