These were a replacement for the 60w equivalent LED bulbs I already have that some are flickering and I also wanted more light. The good news is I don't notice any flickering yet. One of the problems with many light bulbs is that they have a stroboscopic effect, which is synchronous with the AC line voltage. This can be a problem with rotating machinery, as the strobe effect can make a rotating spindle appear to be stationary, or to be moving slowly. They're bright, easy to install, don't flicker. However I ordered warm white and I received daylight white but if I return these and ask for the right ones, I'll have to sit in the dark for a few days so I'm stuck with them. I suppose they'll be good for the bathroom.

Bought these for a dinette area to replace 60 watt incandescent. These have a nice soft white color compared to some other white LEDs I have used, and are brighter than the original bulbs that were used in the light fixture. At 11 watts, they run cooler then the 60 watt incandescents, so the fixture should also last longer. For example, one set of 60 Watt incandescent I have put out 640 lumens. These 11 Watt LEDs put out 1100 lumens. ... show more

Misleading title/description. The brightness of the bulbs is 1100 Lumens, which is equiv. to a 75W incandescent bulb, not 100W as the title/description says. (Search online for "Watts To Lumens Conversion".) I thought the 11W rating seemed too low (other 100W equiv LED bulbs use closer to 17W), but I trusted the description. Uggh. :-( ... show more

Warm light hit the spot. Not too bright that your blinded and just enough to fill the room. We had tried the “daylight” which felt like a nuclear flash. It was painful on the eyes. Found the 2700, and it is easier. Not a stab in the eye.
