As I sit here in the moment milking my cow with this product I’m very thankful I was able to purchase it through Amazon, receive it quickly, and that the quality was as good as I expected for the money. Originally I bought the goat unit as I have 35 goats but our cow came into milk first. Initially I killed my cow with this unit until I was able to get the bigger milk bucket and appropriate inflations for her (which you will see in the video) but the goat unit was what I originally milked her with and the idea is the same. The goat inflations are all plastic which is nice because you can see the test in there and also see the pulse action of this pump very nicely! The handful of times I have used this unit to milk a goat it does it so quickly - it basically takes more time to clean the goat and get her settled than the Miller takes to work. Obviously if your goats aren’t trained to the stand it is even smoother - mine are not so it’s always a fight but let me tell you - it’s nice to get the killer on there and just have to hold the goat - the goat appreciates it too! The inflations are a nice soft silicone on the inside on there goat unit. Goats being smaller these being plastic isn’t as big of a deal - but like I said I initially milked my cow and she did step on them a few times - I was worried she would break them that’s why I upgraded to the steel unit for her (which I love). I am ecstatic with this product. Both units work great. Compared to a $1700 Melasty these are well worth the money. The pump holds a charge GREAT… only have to charge maybe once a week and it milks out a cow every day … no complaints - fully portable - easy to clean - light weight. Totally awesome.

So I want to say like every first time dairy cow mama, I had dreams of hand milking. Well, a few days in I realized it takes a long time to milk out and she was kicking, pulling out of the stanchion as soon as her food was done. We were not emptying her fast enough and going through way too much feed. I researched and decided on this one since we were calf sharing. It was great and delivered exceptionally fast without prime. We milked the left and he milked the right. It worked for months because she wouldnt let down for us unless he was nursing. I had ordered a second one in case the first broke. Fast forward to 6 months in and we decided to wean him amd put a nose ring in. We opened the second milker and now use both. They work great. I ordered a third for the same reason as the second. These milkers are tough. They withstand kicking them off and being stepped on. If there's a hole in a tube somewhere you can snip it off or replace with some of the extra tubing they give. My son set it up wrong once and milk was going in the machine. I stopped it, fixed it and shook it out and all is fine. I made that mistake a few months back and it recovered well. I dont know how but they both work great. I've researched more expensive milkers, 500$-1000$ and these are the easiest to clean and are perfect for someone with unreliable electricity. Just charge it after a few milkings. My only request is that they make a 4 teet milker. These are wonderful especially if one quarter had mastitis. I just milk that one into one milker and the 2 higher producers first in the second then when one is empty move it to the 4th teet. It works very well and I am happy to have now bought 3 of these wonderful savers. Anyone that says it's junk either doesnt realize it has a hole in the tubing or is not making sure to clamp and take off when the teet is done. Any milker will ruin a teet if left on after emptied. Milking only takes 10-15 minutes and I am able to brush and spray with homemade fly spray while it's milking. Truly a blessing we found this milker when we did.

I’m beyond frustrated! I was going to return it but figured it was something I was doing wrong with the seal for the lid. It has been a constant struggle. Now the seal for the lid is not working. The pump works great. I have 3 does I’m trying to milk once a day and I have to reposition the seal 6-8 times. If the seal was different it would be a great product but with a bad seal you can’t even use the stupid thing.

Short answer is after having this milker for 2 weeks I am really pleased with it. It is a great milker if you just have a couple/few goats that you milk. Time will tell how long it lasts but it seems well made. Long answer for those who want more detail and like me a little nervous about some of the reviews. I currently milk 2 well bred full size nubians. I say well bred because it makes a big difference when milking in regards to the bag and teet structure. I have been hand milking them for 2 years but the farm I purchased them from used a milking machine so they were already accustom to both. I have found that the suction amount is just fine, my girls have not objected to the milker and have not had any swollen teets or damage. They actually prefer the milker to my hand milking. Just as a test I had a first time mom boer doe with itty bitty bags and teets smaller than my pinky finger that I put on the stand and put the milker on just to see if I would have any issues. The milker worked perfectly fine on her and she objected to my hand milking but had no issues with the milker on her. The lines come off of the milk pail and motor just fine for me, I hqve not struggled with that. It is easy to break the suction on the teets after you clamp the lines and turn the machine off by slipping your thumb against the teet. The lines are short but for me its not an issue since the machine is portable. I have the pail sitting in a 5 gallon feed bucket(not a 5 gallon utility bucket its not wide enough) I set a rag on top of the pail and put the motor on top of that. My lines wrap neatly on top. It makes it easy to carry to and from the barn and set out of the way until I get the goat o. The stand then put in place next to the goat to milk. It has cut my milking time in the barn way down as well as my frustration because my girls seem to prefer the milker to my hand milking. I may spend a little more time overall when you add the cleaning but I would rather spend less time in a freezing cold barn and a little more time inside cleaning. I do hand strip the last bit of milk from my girls once it seems the machine has gotten all it can, this is standard practice with any milking machine, its not much usually 3-5 squirts per teet. If you find its more you probably didn't massage all the milk out of the bags while the milker was running and/or just needed to leave it on a little longer. Its nice that everything is numbered for hooking up the lines, it also comes with a spare gasket, line, and the cleaning brushes for the teet cups and lines. I only gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons, the milk pail was very slightly banged up, I honestly don't care but some people may be really put off by that. And I wish the lip design on the pail was a bit different, the milk is a bit clumsy to pour off through a filter so I pour it into a gallon pitcher then from the pitcher through the strainer. It would be nice to avoid this step and the extra clean up. Cleaning the machine is easy enough, I wash the outsides of the cups and lines with warm soapy water then hook the machine up and run warm sopy water through the lines after every use. Once a week I run the brushes through the lines and I am happy with that. So far the only time I have had an issue with it "not working" was one day when I couldn't clean the machine right away and it set for a couple of hours. When I went to hook it up to run clean soapy water through it the suction was not working, everything was hooked up properly and the motor was running. I finally realised the check valve in the lid was stuck closed due to dried milk, once I cleared that it went back to operating perfectly. I hope my review helps others on the fence. I am happy with my prurchase.

This is my first time milking goats and my goat’s first foray into motherhood so we’ve had our struggles. To be able to have someone else milk my daughter and I, who co own the small herd, decided we each needed a milking machine. With a limited budget and no power source in my barn I decided to try the Hantop battery machine. My daughter ordered the same pricey model that a friend with lots of goats uses. My unit came quicker than anticipated and was simple to set up and use, although it didn’t look like it would conform to my goat’s small teats. I delayed using it for several days because I didn’t want to have to clean it until her milk really came in. When I finally used it I was pleasantly surprised all around. First, the suction is great and you can see the ends contracting and drawing the milk out. The noise isn’t too much and the doe (Nigerian dwarf) seems to prefer it. It doesn’t seem to get the last bit, but hand milking a little is still faster and easier on my hands with carpal tunnel syndrome from decades of keyboarding. Second the cleanup is quick and easy. The machine does most of it itself although I haven’t yet had to do a more thorough cleaning (still in first week). I was through the whole process in less time than my hand milking. And no numb hands! Third, I’ve used the machine several times without needing to recharge. I don’t have to worry that adding additional goats will be too much for the battery. How does it compare? As if this writing the other one hasn’t shipped. Will update when it does. If it lasts this is the choice. Besides I can replace it twice and still be ahead, snd never drag an extension cord.

I have used a big refurbished Serge milker for decades. This little battery powered machine is the bomb to use. Its lightweight, easy to clean, and efficient. I have 5 goats to milk, producing 2 to 3 gallons of milk twice daily, so I bought the 14 L can. The hoses are thin and bendy, so be aware that they are not kinked when milking. I also use a bit of coconut oil on tbe attachments in the milk pail lid to make pulling off the hoses easier. The only thing missing is a handle or strap on the milk pail for transporting. Did I mention I purchased the battery operated unit and I am free to go where the goats are to milk. Im no longer tethered to the electric outlet, and I only charge the battery every other day or so. Great for off grid homesteads. The suction was not strong enough for my milk cow, but great for the goats! Even tbe ones with tiny teats.... Im thrilled with this purchase!

I used this to assist in milking 3 goats twice a day. Love that it pulses. It works great! I especially appreciate the rechargeable battery as we don't have electricity available at the milk stand. For 3 does, the battery lasts for two-three days of morning and evening milkings. Also easy to clean and take apart/put back together. Silicone hoses are easy to take off/put on when you pinch the hose and twist on/off. If you pull, it will feel like it's impossible to get off. So just a tip! Because it really is a good machine.

Did fine last milking season. Sat during the dry off from December through yesterday. Sept 16th 2025. I charged it, the light was green, went to milk my very engorged goat and it stopped mid milking. So...I brought it in and charged it overnight, there was the green light again...went to milk again tonight and it died after 2 minutes of turning it on. I think its not holding a charge? Do lithium batteries do that? I'm so over this 198.00 POS! I HADTHE VERY CHEAP ELECTRIC ONE FOR 5YEARS!! WORKED GREAT! GOT THIS AND ITS CRAP. 😠😡😠
