Good sound once I realized which knob to adjust the volume. There are a few volume knobs and each control a different input. Easy to set up and disassemble. We used outside for a party of 100.

Purchased to use at events and the microphone is horrible! If it’s not pressed against your mouth you might as well give up and yell. We used it for 2 events and both times looked like comedy show trying to speak into it. Speakers are good for music but if you plan on using for events with the microphone don’t bother!

Not a bad PA...for the price. The negative reviews about the mics are misleading, but not untrue. The mic is not the problem, it is the 2 mic inputs on the back of the powered speaker. These inputs have some type of automatic limiter on them that raises and drops the volume at its own discretion. So if you plug directly into Mic Input 1 or 2 (even with a industry standard SM58 mic), you will be fighting with volume issues forever. EXAMPLE - You talk into the mic plugged into input 1 or 2, and you can't hear yourself. So you move the mic closer and speak up. The result is you being WAY TOO LOUD. It's as if a prankster is controlling the volume while you speak and he is purposefully trolling you. Not a good look if you are trying to speak to a crowd. THE SOLUTION FOR MIC INPUT ISSUES? Don't use the 2 mic inputs, EVER!!! Instead, I got my old analog mixer out of the closet and ran the main outputs of the mixer into the LINE INPUT of the PA (That's the white and red IN holes in the back) (Two 1/4" R/L to RCA Cable). Running through a mixer into the line input worked great, and gave me FULL control of the volume. Great PA for: - Music on the patio/pool - Karaoke - Speaking to a crowd in a large conference room - DJ - Live musician acoustic solo/duo - Live Music Stage Monitors NOT a good PA for: - Full band (4+ pieces). Not even for a practice room. Even if band uses their amps, and PA is just for vocals, it can be a struggle to hear the vocals. It works, but its not great. Just know what you are buying it for and it can get the job done.
