Picked this up as a gift for my dad to replace his old ipod classic. Works like charm! The bluetooth connection is quick and has a decent range. The storage capacity is just as high as his original ipod, with the bonus of being expandable with an sd card. The battery on this thing is really impressive, he's been using it for over a week and has only needed to charge it once. My only shock was how small this thing was, my dad seems fine with it though!

After having them kindly send me a 2nd one since the side button literally wedged itself (stuck) so light clicks. Scroll wheel will usually just turn volume down most of the time. I use the volume on the screen, can be tricky. Usually I’ll avoid using the button/wheel tho and just change the song from my speaker. Not to say the interface is bad! Also heads up this thing has a built in tempo function so if you think you loaded a slowed/fast version that’s cuz it’s slowed down marked by the x you’ll hear it. If you use it with a speaker ur good but be easy on the buttons. I was bummed but found the work around. The speaker on photo is the JBL clip 5 if your wondering! UPDATE: works great! Bluetooth connects almost flawlessly. jpgs need to be converted. If u disable the clock screen saver the side button won’t work so make sure it’s on at all times. get a protective case/bag for preventing it from falling.

This dude rocks. I've been using this for a week now, still have full battery, transferred my songs flawlessly, and it automatically transfers the songs into albums on the device. The video format it uses is amv, which means that you can't have mp4 videos or even avi, so I wouldn't buy this if you're wanting music videos on your player.

The software is a little strange sometimes. Navigation isn't always intuitive. The touch screen is very small, and so are the icons on the screen, so I often wind up pressing the wrong button several times in a row. The software has some quirks, like you can't fast forward or skip a track while the volume slider is on the screen. There's often significant lag in between a button press and a response from the machine. The only files that work with the ebook function are plain text files. If you're trying to download any ePubs you've bought, you won't be able to use them on this device. The navigation for ebooks is very strange. You have to swipe from the bottom to turn the page, and if you swipe from the right it closes the book. I often forget this quirk and close my book while I'm trying to read it. The volume knob started to have problems pretty quickly, even after just a couple of days, but it's still more or less usable if you're patient with it. The sound quality is just ok. If you're an audiophile, it might bother you, but it's within acceptable limits for me. The form factor is nice, but it's also strangely heavy, like they put some weights inside of it. It's almost as heavy as my phone even though it's half as big. I probably wouldn't buy this device again. When it inevitably breaks beyond repair, I'll probably shell out for something a little more expensive with a little better quality. Update: After a few months, it stopped connecting to my computer. So it's basically useless now. Total waste of money. I expected it to hold out for at least a year, but it didn't even make it six months. Don't recommend.

I only needed this player to back up all my mp3 files and listen to them on the go. Easy to operate and works fine with my Bluetooth earbuds and speakers. No issues so far since I got it. Small enough to carry around and the touch screen is nice feature.

Lovely mp3 player. Can download pictures, audio, ebooks, video. It also can record voice, although the quality of the microphone is terrible. However, the volume knob is completely broken. All I can do is keep turning it and hope it gets somewhere. I only got it in December. Functions well except for the volume knob, which is the reason that i cannot recommend this player.
