First of all this is an extremely great product. This insulated food warmer box is worth it. This is Five Star All The Way. We had a great experience with this box. I put 7 hot food trays in there at 2:30pm. took out 3 trays at 4:00 to set up our Buffet area. Went back to it to grab 2 more trays around 6:30 and it was still hot. The final 2 trays I got around 11:30 pm 12:00 midnight and it was still hot/warm. No lie. This is a great functional hot box.     • Warmed to Perfection
I was looking for a non-electrical food warmer and I stumbled across this one online. After reading the previous reviews, I decided to purchase it. I was extremely satisfied with my purchase. The warmer arrived in really good time (approx 5 days). The only assembly required was to attach the wheels to the underbody of the unit. There are 2 sets of handles on both sides of the unit (at the mid point and top) because it is kind of bulky. (It's approx 50 lbs). Using the warmer was super easy. I strategically placed 2 heating elements inside of warmer along with approx 7 long pans of food. The food was previously heated and the warmer kept the food to temp for approx 60 minutes that it was in use. Another bonus that was not mentioned in the specifications is that 2 of the wheels have locks on them. This helped because as the food was being removed from the warmer, it kept everything steady / still. Clean up of the unit was super simple. Warm, soapy water with a rag was sufficient. I dried the unit with paper towels and left the door open for 24 hours to air out. A day later, I simply stored the warmer in a cool, temperature-controlled place until the next time I need it. This is an asset for any cook who serves in bulk and slowly filters food into rotation. ... show more
