This is a great product. I have been using it for several days with an outside temperature in the mid-90s. It brought the temperature of the house down quickly when first turned on, and has maintained it comfortably since then. It is very quiet, with just a whisper. I installed it myself. It was relatively simple and the instructions were helpful. There is a video on the Amazon page that also helps. I needed to buy a vacuum pump and gages, which cost $130, but even after this expense the total cost was so much less than other mainstream brands. I have the 12,000 BTU model feeding a sitting room about 400 sq. ft. that opens into the rest of the house - so really feeding 700+ sq. ft. The exterior unit arrived with a dent in one corner. Customer service was very responsive and helpful. The function was not affected, so we agreed they would give a partial rebate rather than shipping it back and waiting for a replacement. ... show more

We contacted the company to purchase new a/c lines as one was bent & unable to use during installation (by us); they didn’t try to charge us for new lines, only quick to respond & send new ones. It took me longer than the 30 day return window to be able to afford the install so I am apparently stuck with a non-working unit.I have been unable to contact the seller through amazon. I had the unit installed and the outside unit will not power on. The indoor unit runs(fan only) for about 3 minutes before giving an "E0" code. HVAC guy said that other brands indicate a communication error, but he could not find any info for this brand. In the end I guess I am stuck with a very expensive fan. ... show more
