I read people complaining about the smell it leaves, it’s only temporary. We have a Tahoe that set out for the winter and Fieval the mouse decided it was a great place to explore. The dash and underneath the center console required a lot of cleaning, but we couldn’t remove the smell. This machine with both functions on for 60 minutes and it terminated the smell. The instructions clearly state to not use this in an occupied place, whether human or animal, and to let it air out for 60 minutes prior to re-entry. If it is warmer, and you use a fan, the smell of the ozone goes away quicker as it oxidizes. My son’s hockey gloves no longer smell, until he uses them. Are you hearing me oh Canada, hockey gear does not stink! My buddy suggested one after we talked about using a CPAP for sleeping. He got Strep B, which is always in your skin, on his nose that left him with a scar, and this was the remedy his doctor gave him. He has never had another issue. Give it a try if you are fighting some smell that you can’t fix. Side bar, I wonder if it kills fleas in the house when you use it???? It is pretty small and is quiet when it runs. ... show more

I used this product in a shoe cabinet and a small storage room to deal with a heavy, greasy odor. Unfortunately, it did not remove the smell at all. What’s worse, after using it, several items stored inside were permanently damaged. Shoes, bags, and other stored belongings developed unusual surface changes and lingering odors that did not go away, even after ventilation. These items were in good condition before use, and the damage appears irreversible. The financial loss is significant, and this experience was far more costly than just a failed odor-removal attempt. I would not recommend using this product in enclosed storage spaces with personal belongings. ... show more

This ozone generator includes the machine, a user manual, two door tags to warn people away from the room during use, and the power cord plugs into the back. I’ve never owned an ozone generator before, but I’ve had hotels use them on my room when traveling with someone who has chemical sensitivities, so I know how helpful they can be. This little device is deceptively small and light. I did not expect the level of ozone it emitted when I tested it. The product description says it can clear up to 6,000 square feet, and while I have not yet tried it in a large room, I am completely convinced that this is accurate. When I tested it, I put it in a bedroom that has been rather stale, and followed the directions, setting the timer for 10 minutes. Although the door was closed, I smelled a faint whiff of ozone while in the hall right away. I waited an hour after they cycle ended, as instructed, and then opened the door and was met with a pronounced smell of ozone. I left the room and closed the door and did not return for another hour. By that time, the ozone had mostly dissipated, so I was able to leave the door open to air out the room. I think with the room size, I could get perfect results with just five minutes use of the ozone machine. The timer is on a dial and is very easy to use. There is a switch for the ozone, and another switch for negative ions. However, the instructions do not mention the negative ion setting at all, so I am unsure of how to use it. I saw in another review that it should not be used simultaneously with the ozone setting. I don’t really know enough about how negative ion machines work, so this is something I definitely need to research before using. Hopefully, the manufacturer will edit future manuals to include instructions for its use. The odor elimination provided by this little machine is exceptional, and now that I’ve used it a few times and understand that a little goes a long way, I’ll definitely use it again, when needed. ... show more
