This is a great mount. Very well made lots of room to hide wiring. One big issue. The mounting studs are not long enough. The windshield mounts is used (Westin) for my gladiator we’re for a 50”-52” light bar. The mounting studs were not long enough to use any kind of spacer and we’re not long enough to leave enough room to thread the nut. You could catch maybe 2 threads and that was without a washer. I ended up drilling holes and threading them so I could run a bolt through it then on back side at a nut to act as a jam nut. Worked perfect but if KC would of added an inch of threads to both sides it would of saved me 45min and for someone not mechanically inclined or lacking the tools it would of been a no go for them. Now these were just issues in my particular application and you miles may vary. But the actual bar is top notch well made and looks god. The little spacing chart is great and spot on. ... show more

KC has evolved over the years, but still delivers the quality and function I'd expect. If you like the old school lights, this is a MUST-have!! Sturdy and easy to install.

    • Really 51 1/2 inch wide
I should have read the reviews as they were totally correct. This bar does not fit a standard 50" pillar bracket for a 2005 LJ Wrangler. It's about 51 1/2 inches wide so I will have to order new 52" brackets hoping that they will fit. Then modify the brackets to fit my ARB snorkle. If that doesn't work I will have to remove the ends caps of this bar and cut it down. Super bummer as it is advertised to fit a 50" opening. I would avoid if I had it to do over to be honest. ... show more
