Easy to put together. Definitely need multiple people to assemble. I would recommend sealing the roofing tin seams with silicone. Definitely worth the money. Would buy it again.

roofing panels are very flimsy and can very easily bend so need to take caution on how handle them during install, very easily can scratch up even with the plastic of a drill motor. inconsistent manuf of self tap screws, some easily cut thru metal whereas others didn't cut at all, but overall majority were good. kit actually came with center overhead support braces which should make the unit stronger. excellent protection of all items. unit was black instead of white. good instructions. put together a little different and plywood to fully close up ... show more

For the most part it's easy to put together. In my opinion I don't like how those small supports attach to the frame with only 2 screws and the screws easily strip the frame. I reinforced all those smaller pieces with extra mending plates that I bought at a hardware store along with better self tapping screws used on part of the framing and the roof. Still a good carport but I would definitely recommend getting a bunch of mending plates and using better screws every so often. Spent maybe an extra 30 to 40 for mending plates and screws but will definitely be stronger with the mending plates and adds about another hour or so to the time ... show more

    • Make sure there's no hidden damage to the roof panels.
This carport has all the elements of an excellent product were it not for two primary issues: Instructions that are inadequate for a first-time build (perhaps a link for video instructions could be provided)? Packaging of the roof panels (for the sheer weight of the contents) allowed for significant corner damage to many of the panels. This made the fit very difficult as the metal had to be bent back into shape as much as possible. The framework and bracing are excellent and came together easily. ... show more
