Tried to use for my cross stitch and I was unable to pull the threads apart. This product is not useable unless you leave threads as is.

This thread is so pretty! All of the colors are bright and vibrant, and for sure have a metallic sheen to them. It’ll make beautiful accent colors on embroidery, cross stitch, or even crochet or knit. The individual strands are very thin, so if you split up each piece of floss you will have more than 6 individual strands. Depending on what you want to use it for....it is stiff and not all the colors are actually metalic with a shiny thread going thru them. I use it to teach kids to sew so it doesn't tangle easily. Not sure it would be good for all embroidery.
