Despite their outer appearance looking like a good, moderate-duty Edison connector, there's a reason you can get lots of these for the price of one or two of the better name-brand connectors. There is almost nothing to the male plugs...the blades are mounted in a single flat piece of plastic with screw connectors directly on the back, and I wouldn't trust them with any significant field use. If you need something to put on the end of a cord that's going to sit in one place and not get moved around much or subjected to much stress, they'll do the job. If you're looking at making utility extension cords that are going to see some wear and tear, spend the extra money and get something more robust. ... show more

These are the worst plugs that I have ever tried to use. The screws for the wires are too small & you can't get them tight enough that the wires won't pull out, & then there is the poorest quality plastic I have ever seen in any type of product. These are just bad all the way around, & if you are thinking of buying them....just don't!!! ... show more

Wire connections are cheap. Use for extension cord repair. Take that back, it wasn't good enough to use

It doesn't hold onto the plug. Pulls out if you move. The cable clamp on them has super short screws and won't work without drill the cable hole bigger.
