Didn't quite know how to rate this cord. I returned it because of the lighted end. To be sure, and maybe to help others, only one end (not ends) lights. It was my understanding of the description that it lights up to show the power is in use. So to me, that meant the light would come on when the microwave was in use and go off when microwave was off. But noooooooo, it lights as soon as it is plugged into the outlet regardless, with or without an appliance. See photos. I cannot abide another light being on from any more electric sources. Also, the cord is huge at 1/2 inch diameter. It seems to be very durable and safe to use with the microwave but that light staying on was a no-go for me. Would have preferred one with a flat outlet plug and no light but thought this one was safer with more wattage than needed, and 10 gauge. So, for anyone that does not mind the light, this is probably the best 6ft 10/3 cord on amazon. It seems to be well designed, much better quality-more sturdy, durable, safe, and reasonably priced. A quality extension cord can be a bit pricey. I feel that I scored a great quality cord for a comparatively reasonable price. Thus far, it has held-up to the weather (connected from my garage to my professionally converted MB Sprinter van). I like the lighted end as it makes it a bit easier to connected it to my bumper outlet in the dark. Before I depart on a trip, I take this with me to connect at campgrounds. This is a very thick power cord. It arrives folded and it took some work to remove the folds and make the cable straight. I don't like or need a light on a 3 foot long cable. I can easily see both ends of a 3 feet cord so I'm not sure why the light is on this short cord. I would have preferred a cable without the light. This 3 foot 10 gauge cable is likely overkill for most any application. But, the price was nearly the same as the 12 gauge cable. ... show more
