Recently, my 75 foot Heavy Duty Outdoor Power Cord arrived and was eagerly inspected. Having had many 12 gauge cords of similar current capability, the first major thing noticed was its high flexibility. Its flexing compares very favorably with several of my 16 gauge extension cords. Although its flexibility is untested yet in sub-zero temperatures, it is expected to perform admirably as others have reviewed here. Several reviewers have noted that this cord is not UL listed. Technically that is probably true, but it is ETL (Edison Testing Laboratories) listed, which means it has been tested to the UL specifications and it meets them. ETL is a well known recognized testing safety organization. The actual cord is embossed as being ETL listed along with the cable being SJTW rated. SJTW is an industry-standard abbreviation used on wire and cable. It means it is a hard service, thermoplastic cable rated for 300V and approved for outdoor use. S is for service; J is for junior (defined as hard service instead of extra hard); T is the coating (thermoplastic/vinyl); W is weather approved. Although long term durability will take time to evaluate, it appears this cord should be very durable as the connectors seem well made and the overall general workmanship exceptional. I bought this to run power in my back yard by the shed. I use a 12" sliding miter saw rated for 15 amps and this cord has been solid. It's maintained flexibility so far. I haven't tested it in extreme cold yet, and I'm in no hurry to do so, but I have no reason to believe it won't hold up as described. The lighted receptacle is a great bonus, especially when you're plugging in across the yard like with a hundred foot cord. I'd buy this again. Great value. ... show more
