I liked the colors and it worked out perfect for children to play in the backyard on 7/4... The balloons are thin so be very careful when filling it with water because it can easily pop... Make sure you place them in a spacious bucket with water.... The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I ended up having some of the balloons pop..... ... show more

    • Fun when they break but you gotta throw them hard

About 1/5 of these just slipped off the filler and didn’t fill properly. The ones that filled all the way worked good for the intended purpose which is to smack some water upside a child’s head. The ones that didn’t break right way just bounced off and didn’t even break in the grass. If you know how to throw a fastball you’ll have an advantage. Was very happy that they were not larger. Fit well in the hand. About between a baseball and softball when filled properly. Not nearly as fun as the ones we used to fill in the kitchen sink because these all fill to about the same size or smaller. The kids were fascinated by how the filler worked. They ran around for hours sucking on the plastic fillers. We had more fun yelling at them to get the fillers out of their mouth than we did getting each other wet. Just get double the amount you expect to use if you really want to have an all out war. ... show more

We couldn't actually test these out unfortunately. Google only predicted a 20% chance of rain. We just got done filling up the balloons and putting them in the bottom of the water bounce slides pool when a storm came out of no wear. It was a quick storm. But unfortunately none of the balloons made it. My girls where very disappointed. We will have to order more and try it again. Good news is the pop easy, which makes the perfect water balloons. ... show more

This was my first time ordering this product- I have to give credit to the review that mentioned filling these balloons in a container filled with water! Thank you - I believe this is the secret ingredient to make this successful! We ended up trying to fill these a few different ways- we found that the least amount of collateral happened using these simple methods: 1- fill a large clean bucket or clean plastic storage container with water (in our case we filled the inside of a small canoe with water) 2- submerged a set of balloons in the water to allow air to escape 3 - with the balloons submerged and the hose ON a medium low to medium flow attach the hose to the balloon filling nozzle Note : if you attach a hose that is off you will end up with big air bubbles in your balloons! Have water running when connecting hose to balloon nozzle 4- do not allow filling straws to twist for extended period of time - this will cause uneven fill and balloons to detach from filling straws before they are filled properly 5- when hose attachment is hand tight slowly pull hose out of water container (keeping balloons in water) allowing balloons to untangle and fill evenly 6- do not over fill- when your halfway to your desired fill- Begin detaching balloons from filling straws- Start from lowest middle point and work your way around the sides 7 - be patient- we lost a few in learning how to find the best process for an optimal fill! A few duds per bunch however still way EASIER and less broken then the nozzle method. Absolutely loved the 3 different colors, very vibrant. They are thicker then what I'm use too and didn't really break when thrown at others, which is fine bc we don't need any accidents! Throwing them on ground by someone would still definitely serve the same purpose and fun. ... show more

I've purchased bunch-o-balloons in the past, but these were different. The rubber bands used to "seal" the balloons were big and didn't seem to seal the balloons very well. As soon as they were filled, they leaked the water out almost immediately. Additionally, out of the three sets that came in the package, about half didn't actually fill up with water. I don't know if this set was a dud or if they changed something, but I would be hesitant to purchased this one again. ... show more
