I went with this dinnerware set purely because of the aesthetics. It definitely has a very minimalist chic to it which i think fits well with the rest of my dinnerware and silverware. It is extremely light weight and has held up very well in terms of chip resistance after using it for a few months. The size of this dinnerware set is pretty much your standard width and depth for the dinner plate and salad plate. The cereal bowl is a bit larger in width and shallower than I'm used to but I'm actually really enjoying it. I do have some concerns with the thickness of the material for this dinnerware set. I think even a short drop or an aggressive set down on a countertop might cause the material to break. I understand part of the minimal aesthetic is the thinness of the material but I feel they could've done added a bit of additional thickness for break resistance. So far, after a few months of usage, I haven't had any breakage, however I can foresee it being an issue over time. I've been able to microwave and wash this dinnerware set in the dishwasher with absolutely no issue or discoloration so that is great. ... show more

I was concerned when I opened these dishes because they are very lightweight and seemed fragile, but decided to keep them. I have had them only a couple of months and 4 pieces have already broken. One of the bowls broke today in the dishwasher. I would not buy these dishes again.

Ok this is a nice looking set of dishes, rigid design makes them easy to hold and grab. The durability is as much as you're going to get out of set of dishes in general, but these are kind of on the thins side of the spectrum. They have a thin feel to them as if you'll probably get about one accidental drop and that till be it for them. They are elegant to look at and despite the thin part they still do the job. Extra care is all they need. The shape to the bowls are kind of unique though as they are not perfectly round, they do have a warp to the edge of the bowls.
