I got these to experiment with. I had a vase that had similar colors and wanted to see what this really was. The velvet is very loose on the wires. They slide around and up and down. They can be pulled off. I am not sure they would look good in a Christmas tree and they certainly would not look like the pictures on the description page (the wires aren’t attached to anything in the pictures). But I did stick them into my little fall display. The brown and cream matched my little display and was kind of cute, but not something I will keep in it. I do not think these are worth 2 bucks a piece and I am not that impressed with them. But if it fits your theme, then they can work.
