I used these while installing 1" thick pvc deck boards. These worked very well and are accurately sized. I measured the 1/4" thickness with a caliper and found them to be .256 inches thick, so only 6/1000th off. My caliper might be off by that much. They quantity of 6 was plenty for me. I did not have any trouble pulling them out from between the boards after they were fastened down. I also found it useful to put a piece of electrical tape on the side opposite of the one I was using to help ensure that I didn't accidently use the wrong size here and there.

Original purchased the 6 pack they are so nice returning and buying the 24 pack. These surpassed my expectation.Man who built deck didn’t square the deck and had 6 inches to make up on one side it now looks square and great. The picture is very deceiving they are much bigger than they look. My husband and myself we’re too old to build the base but to save money we finished it.
