I used these while installing 1" thick pvc deck boards. These worked very well and are accurately sized. I measured the 1/4" thickness with a caliper and found them to be .256 inches thick, so only 6/1000th off. My caliper might be off by that much. They quantity of 6 was plenty for me. I did not have any trouble pulling them out from between the boards after they were fastened down. I also found it useful to put a piece of electrical tape on the side opposite of the one I was using to help ensure that I didn't accidently use the wrong size here and there.

Original purchased the 6 pack they are so nice returning and buying the 24 pack. These surpassed my expectation.Man who built deck didn’t square the deck and had 6 inches to make up on one side it now looks square and great. I used these spacers when laying the decking on my deck. I was able to snug up the boards nice and tight. Once the board is nailed in, the spacers are easy to pull out even though it's a tight fit.

very good quality plastic, and the color is very easy to spot on the job site. They also stand on their flanges very well. It would be nice if the measurements (thicknesses) were printed in a different color. They're hard to read, particularly when I've got sweat all over my safety glasses.

6 of these were just what I needed to redo my small deck, approximately 9'x12'. I put a piece of electrical tape on the opposite side of the spacing size I wanted, so that I could quickly ensure I was using uniform spacing. However, please note: these can't be used against posts, as they have supports on both sides, so you might want to buy more and cut them down (if you don't have something else to use - I used some old vinyl trellis pieces).
