These are smaller than expected and very flimsy. Even when we put them in a potted plant, the stakes bent. After 1 day of use they looked like they had been in the yard for years. Would not recommend.

My two miniature Australian shepherds have managed to run across every single light in the ground. They are not broken however they are slanted they come off of their post easy. Also the illumination is not as bright as being anticipated but for the price wait and ease of use these are good lights for beginners. If you are only going to use them for decoration as opposed to illumination, that would also work. We purchase a box of 16 and the only way they light up a good portion of any buffet is to have them no further then two feet apart. But hey don't let my opinion stop you from making this great purchase ... show more

Small, cute. Pics show size relative to my phone. Also shows where to find the on button. Charges well, and gives off light - barely. It is the same as a night-light! If placed in a line, it will pinpoint where to aim for to walk, but it will NOT light up the walkway. The light switch is under the top piece, which twists off easily. The light (what there is of it) lasted about 12-14 hours. They did not all last the same. I tested 4 of them to see the brightness, and one of them lasted about 8 hours and one got even dimmer after about 9 or 10 hours, and the other two lasted 14 hours and still had light. The plastic is cheap, and if I had tried to put the stake in the ground, I would have to drill a hole first with something else. For the money, a bad buy. For lighting a walkway, waste of money. ... show more

Even if made of plastic and not metal, a dozen lights at this price is a great value. Be sure to twist the top left to remove and turn on the switch then put top back on before installing. Also if you have rock hard ground like we do, breaking up the soil with a metal spike of some kind first was helpful to avoid any risk of damage. ... show more

they came not working, fully charged sunny day full day charge from AM and ....nothing. just super crappy falling apart junk it's embarrassing to have them i front of the house so I put them around the yard. so cheap and only half are lighting up. there's glue all over them and they are poorly made. the filament or "light" is the tiniest wire and rice light ever. you guys should be ashamed ... show more
