For less than half of what I paid at HD, these bulbs completed the look we were going for at our beach home. The "amber" is a soft white, not yellow (but the house is). Can't speak to longevity, but the box suggests we can expect 13+ years, probably longer than the lamps themselves will last!

    • Seem good quality, less bright vs. others

These have a high quality look, but the brightness is a little less than the more traditional frosted plastic 40-watt equivalent LED bulbs that I own. I ended up returning these and bought a similar 60-watt version. These seem like a great option if you're OK with this.

These lights are exactly what I was looking for. Non-dimmable lights are way to bright and hot to sit under while eating meals. With the dimmable lights, you can easily set the mood. I particularly like the Edison style of the bulb. I did opt to go with the warm color this time as I had the cool color prior but those ones felt too commercial. ... show more
