I received a thoughtful email from the seller: very kind. These were an exact replacement for my trailer’s cabinet latch - I did have to drill out the mounting holes on the catch because my installation had used larger diameter screws - easy modification - I do NOT recommend just forcing larger screws into the mount holes because doing so would almost certainly crack the catch - take the time to do it right. I had to replace the catch because the tongue on the door engages with a spring loaded catch on the cabinet side portion and if the door is not closed completely or if you move the door to touch the catch but change your mind and open it again it is possible for the spring loaded latch to close it’s face to the tongue on the door. If you notice the next time you try to close the door that it doesn’t close all the way do NOT try to force it or you will probably damage the catch. That’s why I had to buy these replacements. It is very easy to pop the cabinet side catch open again to receive the tongue on the door by using a small screwdriver or even the handle of a spoon. These are dark components - use a flashlight so you can get an idea of how the tongue and catch work together. ... show more

The product arrived on time and as described. Price was reasonable . Appears to be good quality & should do the job. I bought this 8 pack to replace broken latches on my RV. I can only hope they hold up well and keep the RV drawers from opening whenever your are driving on the road. Easy to install if you are replacing existing laches and pilot holes are already drilled , if new take time to get measurements correct or latches won’t lock very well. Another point just sell the latch holders as they break latch points very sturdy. At the Amazon price I got 8 for what you would pay at you local RV dealer for a two packGood luck ... show more

They are not easy to install, or maybe it was just me. My cabinets were above my head and I didn't take them off to install so I was stretched backwards looking up and trying to figure out how to match them up. Once I finally got them in and measured, the rest was a breeze and I like they way they lock. Very easy to open, but sturdy enough not to open during travel. I still recommend them, but realize they are not easy to install, especially upside down. ;-D ... show more

These fit perfectly. I used the same holes for the receivers. In some cases, I left the old clip in place and the drawers worked just fine replacing only the receivers. However. These are more heavy-duty than the originals so the clips are not as large as the new ones. I did have to drill new holes for the clips since they are bigger, the old holes did not line up. These will definitely last longer than the ones that came with my fifth wheel. I would recommend these. ... show more

Installed these in my car hauler. I added cabinets to the V-nose of the trailer. The drawers and cabinet doors obviously opened during travel. Once these were in, there was a positive "lock" keeping the doors closed. I doubled down, adding one to each side of the drawer for certain closure. Would buy these again. ... show more

If you have an older boat, or other vehicle like an RV, then you're likely to have experienced door clasps like these wearing out. My boat's 20 years old, so no big surprise I need to replace a few of these. The ones I bought on Amazon work great. I'd recommend purchasing several, like this pkg contains. This is the second time I've ordered multipacks of these drawer latches. We use them in a motorhome. The originals and eight previous replacements tend to get stuck in the female side's closed position, so will not catch when the drawer is closed. There is no release mechanism in the design, so that side needs to be replaced. Not expensive, not usually very difficult - just an inconvenience. ... show more
