Review of (12 Pack) Blink Outdoor Camera Vinyl Siding Clip Hooks, No-Hole Needed Outdoor Siding Hanger for Mounting Blink XT2 Blink Outdoor Home Security, Weatherproof Stainless Steel Blink Siding Mount Brand: Hibezos @ $12.99 at time of order/review. I did quite a bit of reviewing and research before ordering these for my Blink external cameras. I had 3 cameras already that were the older Blink ones and ordered 3 more during the Amazon Prime deals. My older ones were mounted in a way that I created so that I could put them securely on my gutter downspouts. I was looking for something better and something easier. These seemed to fit the bill. Plus, I can move these so much easier. One of the photos depicts mounting with a new camera and another with the older camera. They work just fine with either mount. I tried mounting the first one by unscrewing the camera from the base and then mounting the base to the clip hooks. Then I put the clip hooks and base onto the siding, and then remounted the camera to the base. BTW, 1 hook could probably suffice per camera, but I preferred using 2 hooks for a more secure mounting experience. The next camera I decided to do everything on the ground and then just slide the hooks under the siding with the camera and base already in place. It was actually easier to just do everything on the ground first, so I did the rest of them that way. I found that the weight of the cameras helped keep the clip hooks in place even better. They were quite easy to remove and reposition too. As long as the hooks and screws do not rust, I believe this to be my new favorite way to mount my Blink cameras. Other than a couple of instances of some small birds landing on them (I had a lovely clip of a common house finch LOL), I've not had the problems that I experienced with other mounting systems. I'm not seeing where climbing squirrels and nest building birds are going to be an issue with these mounts. They're reasonably priced too! I hope that this helps someone decide whether or not to order this product. ... show more

    • Easily hung my blink cameras
I love this product. It made hanging my blink cameras so easy! The strength has so far been good and then installation was so easy and it looks great on my house without drilling any holes.

    • need to be adjusted
They look well made but you need to make some adjustments for them to work well, the hook at the top is not bent enough to hook under the siding they hook on and with any weight they slip out, i used a pair of pliers to bend the top of the hook more and they now work better and hold on, I would buy them again if needed but hopefully this gets corrected at some point ... show more

I'm really happy with how easy these were to use. I wanted to mount a Blink XT2 camera on my vinyl siding, but was looking to avoid putting any holes in my siding or relying on tape that may fail down the road or be difficult to move should I decide to try the camera out in a new location. After some research I found these hooks and have been pleased with them so far! In my photos you can see the unboxing of the product. The only downside of these hooks is that the hole for the screw was not the same diameter as the screws that came with my Blink XT2 camera. These hooks do come with their own screws, but the screws are not as long as the ones that came with the camera (in the attached photos the Blink XT2 screws are the longer ones on the left, while the hook screws are the shorter ones on the right). The shorter screws are not long enough to include the camera mounting spacer that gives you a little more room from your mounting surface, making it a little easier to rotate your camera in any orientation you want it. That being said, I didn't end up needing the spacer anyways when I mounted these. I can't speak to the metal quality of the hooks themselves yet since I've only had them for a few days, but they were incredible easy to install on the vinyl siding. Watching the video I attached, you can see that they snap into the siding well and are snug when pulled on. These give me much more confidence than if I had tried taping the camera up. With the hooks in place and the camera then screwed into the hooks, I was able to detach the hooks from the siding in a matter of seconds when I wanted to move the camera to a new location. This made installation easy and allowed me to quickly try out a variety of locations until I found the ideal place to leave my camera mounted. Overall, I am very pleased with these hooks and would definitely recommend them if you are looking to mount a Blink XT2 camera to your vinyl siding! I used them on the Vinyl siding of the house for blink cameras. I also used them for hanging signs on the wall . Just snap them in and hang what you want on the screw.
