I slept on it last night and it was really good and comfy. All kinds of soft yet supportive embrace of all the body. Sleeping on my stomach is now comfy too and a new option for me. Best 269$ I've spent. Sitting on the edge of the bed when getting dressed will take some getting used too as it has more give than the old mattress but that's no big deal. Foam material used to be very expensive. I cant believe that such a complex layered mattress that works so well is so cheap in cost. And to think it's delivered to your house all the way from China for free as well is just nuts. Later: 2nd night on it and noticed my breathing through my nose was perfectly clear, not stuffy anymore - so the old mattress that must have been 30 years old was causing the stuffy nose, this in spite of always keeping it well covered and 'clean'. So even if your mattress is not worn out yet it could be affecting your breathing while sleeping from those invisible microscopic dust mites that normally are present alive on your body. Looks like it is a good idea to change your mattress every so many years. They time out just like all things do, even us. We are organic beings laying on top of these things for thousands of hours, they have to be changed out and taken to the dump. There was virtually no odor or chemical smell from this new mattress! I bought a nice puffy mattress cover for it to go under the sheets. I think I am going to wash the mattress cover everytime I wash the sheets from now on.

The convenience and price of these types of mattresses is unsurpassed. We needed two new mattresses so first I purchased this 12” medium firm and it was a bit too firm for our liking. We then bought a 4” gel foam mattress topper and now it’s great. Instead of paying a couple thousand dollars for a new mattress, we spent $300 and have a very comfortable bed. On the second mattress (different brand) I ordered a 12” plush. It didn’t seem much softer than the medium firm. So, got a 4” gel foam topper and now it’s great. Conclusion: I think these are much more firm than the ones you buy at a mattress store. But still worth it. The boxes are heavy but it’s easy to open.
