Man, i was really hesitate buying this jug. But so happy I did. I bought 3-4 other jugs that costed 30-40 dollars in the 3 years of working outside each one has failed me one way or another. - the handle breaks - its hard to clean/fill with water and ice because of the small opening - or it just does not keep the water cold. realizing i spent the same amount in 3-4 jugs i bite the bullet and bought this Yeti 1 gallon jug. Oh my goodness. its worth every cent and hate myself for not buying it years ago. PROS - The handle is made of metal and it super sturdy and comfortable to carry - The wide opening making filling it a breeze, I don't have to hand feed broken up ice cubes - the top is super thick and the top is easy to use with gloves on( plus its magnetic) -dishwasher friendly! CONS -sometimes the lid gets really on there and needs some elbow grease to twist it off. I work in florida and leave this jug in the back of the truck in direct sun and heat for 8-10 hours a day and never once had warm water. ... show more
