Product works great but I purchased this for my vacation rental which dosent get alot of of renters during the winter. So when it got cold, then the cold air blew down into the exhaust of the water heater and froze the copper heat exchanger. When the weather warmed up it thawed out only to blow water everywhere into the cabinet and onto the floor. Lucky the basement has a floor drain so no damage there. The water fried the circuit board so I couldent even fix the copper burst and keep using the unit. So If you don't use this unit on a daily basis drain the water out of it when your done using it. I talked to the company and they said this should have not happened. They were very kind and professional. I sent the old unit back for a refund. I had already purchased the exact same unit to replace it with because I was happy with it's performance. So far so good on my new unit. Thank you again for standing by your product. Not many companies do this anymore.

Bought my first ~4 GPM Bosch tankless 22 years ago and added a second one a few years later to heat water for the laundry only. Those 2 were perfectly adequate for a 2 bath home. After the first unit died, I had trouble finding a new one that didn't require changing the venting. Most are either direct vent or high efficiency dual PVC. I have a 6 in flue from basement to roof. Based on the ratings, I picked the Mizudo. I was skeptical because of the price and physical size of the Mizudo, which is much smaller and lighter than the old Bosch. But it heats water as well as the older Bosch. It dies take a little longer to get up to temperature, but once it gets there it holds well. 4 stars only because I need time to judge the durability. Also if you're using a standard flexible gas line made for water heaters, you'll need to buy an adapter, since the gas hookup is just standard 3/4 threaded pipe, not the nipple that most water heaters are furnished with.

We took as risk on using this but wow it’s amazing. The output water is hotter than our old unit it replaced and our gas bill is lower. Super awesome hot water heater. Recommend. It’s worked great for us.

No experience with tankless, this is the first one I’ve installed, stat being said I’ve put in dozens of hot water tanks. Easy install. Fairly priced product. All of the connections are 3/4 inch. Will update review if anything changes. Would recommend a descaling filter with any tankless unit, or yearly flushes. They do require more maintenance than a hot water tank.

So we bought this and other than the fact the 4.3gpm advertised is false, it has been a good purchase. It does what is needed for our 2 person household. But upon arrival I noticed it’s only 2.3 gpm. I feel like Amazon shouldn’t advertise it as 4.3.
