I was surprised that I was able to install this unit by myself. It's only been about 4 days since I installed it, so far it's working just fine. There are only us 2 senior sisters living here, and it works for us.

Great little heater but I do have some complaints. 1 the wall anchors that come with this heater are a joke worked on it for 3 hours with different anchors and finely decided to just put some wood behind it for the heater brace that worked pretty good all accept for when I put the heater brace up and made sure it we strait and level and hung the heater, when I tried to level the tank the anchor screw that goes in the bottom with the heater would not go in. 2 the connectors for the electric were extremely hard to get to and run the wire to. could not get the wire in the slot without removing the set screws completely. the design of this tank needs work but I will say ones I got all the problems worked out and got it installed , it works great. reason for the 4 star rating is for the problems encountered with installing.

The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?: We chose this water heater after Lightning struck our electric pole and fried our first hot water heater. It reaches top temperature very quickly. It is very easy to install on your own or for an electrician/plumber to do. The control knob is very simple to use.

This item doesn’t work well. The digital display doesn’t light up completely which was a clue. It does not consistently heat the water for my one low-flow rate shower. Sometimes shuts off for no reason. It’s garbage and now I gotta go through the hassle of uninstalling and replacing it. Probably go with a Rheem.
