Great product, fast shipping, great packaging. PROS: This is one powerful pump at high speed, so be sure you have the hose secured in whatever container you're pumping into. It's very easy for one person to use, even for those like me, with disabilities. It has adjustable speeds with a hands free button and takes less than 3 minutes to empty a 55-gallon drum of water at the highest speed. The hose is sturdy and easily attaches to the unit with no leaks. I was in awe the first time I used it because of the speed and ease of use. This pump is well built and I hope it lasts for years, instead of months like a lot of new products on the market. CONS: The power cord isn't very long, maybe 2-3 feet. A longer cord would be ideal to be able to secure it away from the liquid you're pumping. The hose that comes with it needs to be at least 10 feet long, as you have to be pretty close to the container you're pumping into because it's only about 5 feet long. It would be great if the seller would advise of the length of the hose or give an option of hose lengths to receive with the pump, so I could have bought the length I needed at the time of purchase instead of days later from another seller. Also, it would be great if the manufacturer could somehow put a layer of rubber on the end that sits in the bottom of the drum, as it slides around if you're not holding it steady.

This thing is a joke and Amazon customer service is a joke too. The package arrived undamaged, we opened it, used it a handful of times over a 2 week or so period of time, and it broke. It made a loud almost grinding noise. When we took it apart, we found the long shaft inside with the impeller on it was badly bent. The impeller is heavily damaged and the plastic O ring inside the tube that holds the shaft that was bent is all chewed up and fell apart. I called amazon and explained what happened and that I didn't want to return it. I just wanted replacement parts to fix it and apparently that was not an option. I was told that we need to ship it back for a replacement. No huge deal outside of that is not what I wanted to do in the first place. The issue is that after 2 weeks the packaging that it arrived in is long gone. This pump is very long, and I was told that I would need to purchase packaging material to send it back. It is my position that I shouldn'thave to spend any money on a faulty product even if it is just a box and some packaging paper. Nor should I have to spend my time locating a box large enough to send this thing back. I just want replacement parts sent to me! I don't think that is too much to ask. I was also informed that if I do not send it back, after hunting down an appropriate sized box and paying for it myself that I would receive no further assistance. Like I said, a joke.
