Cons: This kayak has a lot to offer, unfortunately it’s got some design flaws and the latches are junk. When it arrived it had cracks around the rear scupper holes. It looks like it was at the bottom of a big stack and couldn’t handle the weight. I was able to fix the cracks with a plastic welder, time will tell how it holds up. One of the plastic clips broke while I was installing the pedal drive system. I have replaced those plastic clips with pivoting aluminum clips that I made. Pros: the pedal drive system seems to be very well made, all aluminum and sturdy. Not plastic like I was expecting for the price I paid for the unit. This kayak came with several extras that weren’t even mentioned in the description. It has a ton of storage options for fishing gear and plenty of rod holders. It is very wide 36” as wide as most kayaks that are twice the price, it should be very stable in the water. You’re not going to get a new pedal drive kayak of this size for this money any where else, that is why I decided to keep it and make repairs and upgrades instead of returning it for a refund. I am hoping to get on the water and try it out today, if there are any updates I will post them here. Update: Amazon made it right with me by issuing a partial refund to pay for a good plastic welder and my time and trouble. ... show more

    • Delivery went well.
The kayak was packaged well. All of the parts were labeled and easy to assemble. I do have one complaint the extra propeller was missing. If you could send me one I would appreciate that. Thank you.
