This is the best washable rug I ever had (have purchased three others with rubber-square pad). This rug is softer and lays smoothly. We elected to buy a quality rug pad yet our total cost for rug and pad were far less than other rugs. Will buy this rug again. EDIT I've had this rug for several weeks. It's still soft and looks great...except for the wrinkles that are NOT going away. The info says do not iron so I don't know what to do.

This rug came folded up and included instructions on how to steam out wrinkles if you don’t want to wait for them to naturally come out over time. It took less than 24 hours for me to smooth out after placing it on the floor. There was no odor that I noticed when I removed it from the packaging. The bottom has gripping dots on the underside to prevent moving. The top is actually very soft and smooth. I would almost say too smooth. Just be careful that your feet don’t slide over the surface if you walk barefoot on it. The edges are well stitched so I don’t anticipate any fraying over time. My robo-vacuum has no issues going over the edge and didn’t get stuck on it. The design is beautiful and brings subtle color into your space. It fits perfectly in my corner of my kitchen for my workspace.

I’m really impressed with this rug for the price. It looks much more expensive than it actually is and reminds me of some of the designer-style rugs you see at high end stores. The colors and pattern look great in person and it made the room feel more finished. It’s also surprisingly soft, which I didn’t expect at this price point. Pros • Looks much more expensive than it is • Very soft texture • Great value for the price • Nice design that looks similar to designer rugs Cons • It’s pretty thin, so you’ll want a rug pad underneath for cushion and to keep it from sliding Bottom line: If you add a rug pad, this is an excellent buy. Even though there were no customer reviews with photos for the particular rug I was considering on buying, I took a chance and purchased the rug in Off-white, 8' x 8' (Square). It seemed to have the colors I wanted and was just the right size for our small living room area. When it was delivered, I have to admit, I was a little worried... it came folded (not rolled like other rugs I have purchased) and was packed in a small-ish box (for a rug) that I was able to carry myself without struggling with its weight. I took the rug out of the package anyway. I felt how soft and smooth it was. It was thinner than other rugs but not too thin. It still had some decent weight to it and seemed well made. I could not believe that it unfolded flat with no major creases (even the corners do not curl up). It had neat, straight edges and a non-slip backing. The floral design was clear and vibrant for being distressed and the colors were actually as pictured. I placed the rug in the living room and, I must say, I am in LOVE. It totally brightened up the area and made it feel bigger than it actually is. The warm, muted colors make it feel so comfy and cozy and welcoming. I am so impressed and happy with this purchase. My pictures don't do it justice.

I don’t know that I’m completely happy with the quality just yet, I feel like it should have relaxed and laid down more flat onto my tile floor by now. But it is very soft and beautiful. Still waiting for the break in lay down, it has been unusually cold this year.
