So as of right now I own three but I've ordered a fourth one that will be here shortly but I wanted to share my experience with these because I do see negative reviews but I have nothing but good experience with them and here are photos of all three now they have bought all three of these probably about a year apart from one another but if you look at all three they look exactly the same and they sit in the sun all day long and yet I can't tell which one is old and which one is the newest which tells me they're holding up very well now like some people they're using them to cover something while driving down the road and they're falling apart so yes I'd recommend that if you're purchasing it for that reason maybe this is not the right one but if you're using it just to cover something in your yard for example two lawn mowers like one of mine is covering or an engine on an engine stand and a engine hoist like one of the other ones and then the third one is just covering a bunch of junk along the side of my house and I'm purchasing a fourth one right now to cover my Mercedes that has an engine problem that I don't want sitting in the sun 24/7 and it getting damaged by the Sun so yes I've had nothing but good experiences and like I said I'm buying now my fourth one and you can't even tell which one is 3 years old or 2 years old or one years old because they all look exactly the same and not one single one has a tear or any defect at all so I guess it depends on what you're using it for but if you're using it just to cover something in your yard I think you will be very pleased as I have been very pleased, I've purchased ones from other stores that start with an h and an F that sell generic tools and stuff and while they're canvas tarps also hold up really well they are triple the price so this one is definitely a winner for me it also has the canvas outside and like a PVC waterproof glue finish on the inside that keeps it extremely waterproof and again I've had zero issues so I wanted to share my experience to kind of counterbalance the negative ones because depending on what you're using it for might work for your application it might not and some of those negative reviews people are loading chairs on trailers and putting the canvas over the legs of the chair which I'd almost bet the chair leg is going to rip any canvas tarp you buy it's just not meant to do that especially when driving down the highway so sometimes you got to use your head and what you're using these for and realize Maybe doing it right makes a difference so anyways my experience is a plus plus 10 star rating and like I said I'm buying my fourth one right now to cover my Mercedes-Benz to protect the paint job and I feel fully confident that I will continue to have good results. As I close out this review I actually just purchased another one on the same day so now I ordered two of them today because I decided to get an extra one to cover up some patio furniture so now I'm waiting on two of them this Thursday February 19th one to cover my Mercedes SUV and one to cover my patio furniture :-) thank you guys for offering such a fantastic product at a good price and yes I ordered the black colored one which actually comes like an olive green color and I do it because it's just as good as the so-called black colored one had a much more reasonable price cuz the color does not matter to me but anyways this is an honest review nobody paid me anything nobody gave me anything nor did they give me a discount I just I'm contractor that loves great things that last a long time and when I find something I share it with all my friends and sometimes I post reviews but not always posting reviews just sometimes :-) ... show more

Ideal for dragging debris, covering equipment in windy area, strapping up for a a shed like cover, or just about anything. Only drawback is it weighs allot. Well made grommets with ample holes are strong and secure. Only owned for a couple of months so cannot tell yet how it performs over time but will order again. It’s that good! ... show more

This so far is the best tarp I have bought. It is very heavy and well made. It has a different coating that the usual tarps like this. So far it is doing well. Hopefully it will last longer than the usual one year that all the others have lasted. The sun does a hard number on tarps.

PRICE For $29.99 in 2026 I ordered this 10'x12' EASTARP tarp made with black polyethylene that's coated by a dark green silicone on one side. That is a reasonable price, IF the tarp will last. COLOR The color is a good olive on the silicone side, but note that it will appear whitish along folds and creases. The black side should not face the sun, and I'll explain why, next. DURABILITY It's silicone-coated polyethylene (PE). It's not a "true" 28 mil waxed cotton canvas tarp, it's 28 mil of silicone-coated PE. That means it's about twice as strong as cotton canvas regarding rip strength, and is a much better vapor barrier (won't absorb and sag under the weight of water). HOWEVER the black polyethylene fabric side will not hold up under UV radiation, and the silicone side is not very abrasion-resistant. That is to say, the other reviewers who complain about the tarp not holding up on their truck have simply installed the tarp upside-down. It is critical that the fabric side (black) faces your tie-down load and the silicone side (green) faces the sun. Otherwise the silicone layer will wear thin and the fabric layer will crack from sun exposure. I am rolling my tarp and cinching it to the bottom of a rucksack to be used as a camping tarp. If it falls apart or is the wrong size, I will return to update my review. THICKNESS In the world where you need to fold up a tarp, this beats cotton canvas regarding bulk by a long shot.
