I used these while I was living in Florida and the Gulf was literally my backyard. I put a soft plastic "minnow" body on it and dragged it along the bottom; the redfish were crushing it! I don't eat redfish, so there are a lot of reds telling alien stories to their buddies. I did lose a couple eyeballs due to them being crushed inside redfish mouths, but the fluorocarbon has held up well. Perhaps it could be the plastic, inner core of the sinkers that prevents the line from chaffing.

These have large hooks appropriate for bass and larger predators. Also attached are a spinner and eye/head for greater attraction. Just add a plastic worm of your choice and you ahve a Texas rig lure ready to go.

Taking my fishing pole to my favorite lake, I am always looking for new ways to catch bigger fish. There are several places in the lake where there is deep cover and dragging hooks through the area would catch on twigs, leaves, etc. Of course, there are a number of fish that call this area home. Using Texas rigs I hope to find that big fish that might be willing to bite. The fishing hooks are large and come with a substantial back. The rig is perfect for adding additional bait or to use other options. The weights allow the rig to look like it's floating naturally near the top of the water, but it doesn't seem to drop too low to get stuck. After working the water with this lure, I didn't catch any bass, but I did have a few bites and I am looking forward to trying again on my next trip to the lake. Overall, I felt the Texas Rigs were a great addition to my fishing and I'd recommend them to others.

these rigs are set up nice and have sturdy large hooks and strong leads to really catch the big ones! the added beads and spoon will add action to your worms and really perform well. I really like the packaging. No one likes to get their hooks tangled and these come packaged to ensure they dont. Each hook is individually spooled around a flat foam block so it fits nice in the tackle box and stays tangle free.

This is the perfect setup for a pre made texas rig. Everything is quality with this product and held up to a 10lb catfish hook up. I have used this setup not over a dozen times and hooked a ton of fish without issues. I highly recommend this for a pre made rig.
