These are lovely and so good for crafts for people who struggle with fine motor or cords that are thicker than most. They are shiny and come in a large assortment of pretty colors. The size and shape is consistent and the marbling effect in the acrylic makes them look more expensive than they are. They arrived in a flat reusable flip top box that fit them perfectly. The top was secured with a sticker so it wouldn't open in transit, but the box snaps closed pretty securely. I like that after I use the beads I can reuse the box for something else, like phone cords. I had no idea that the beads would be this big. To give you an idea 12mm is a 1/4 inch. These beads will be great for various types of crafting or sewing projects. This set has shades of pink, orange, red, blue, purple, green, and yellow. So there is a color for everyone to choose from. They are very durable. Since they are larger beads the hole is big on each bead. I would recommend using a thicker cord or string when threading these. If you like your jewelry larger or chunky then I would recommend getting the 12mm. If not then you will be better looking for smaller beads. You can get bead sets with more beads at hobby and craft stores for cheaper prices but the beads will be smaller than these. ... show more

These beads are beautiful. There are 10 different colors in this set. I counted a few of the colors and confirmed there were 12 of each, which is what I expected. The beads are shiny and have a marbling effect. The center holes are on the larger side so a cord can fit through. This is great for keychains or other bulkier crafts. Nice variation of 12 mm (approx 3/8”) colored acrylic beads with large holes. The hole is almost 3/16” which lends itself well to a project that I have planned for a senior center project using a thick nylon satin to string the beads onto to make tie on bracelets. The pieces have a variegated marbling, which makes them look like natural stones but are much lighter. The beads are very well priced for a kit of 20. All of the beads are of a uniform size, the colors vary and I haven't had any deformities. The colors are absolutely beautiful and vibrant. The large hole is perfect for macrame projects or for knitting projects (personally going to make a weighted blanket for example with these). They're lightweight beads but made good quality because as aforementioned, I've not found any deformities or misshapen beads within the pack. Smooth acrylic beads have swirls of color in each one that gives them an extra nice look. I didn't find any plain solid colors, so all have rich jewel tones. I have the Mulicolor B set. My grandkids and I will be making lots of fun bag charms.
