1. Why isn’t the water hot immediately after turning on the heater? The pipes between the unit and your faucet contain cold water. When you turn it on, that cold water needs to be pushed out first, so you may get a short burst of cold water before hot water flows steadily. 2. Is there an altitude limit for this product? We do not recommend using this unit above 8,000 ft. At higher elevations, lower air pressure and oxygen levels can affect combustion efficiency, which may result in slower heating. 3. How do I choose the right vent pipe and accessories? Vent pipe diameter should be 3 inches. The vent must be made of high-temperature-rated metal (such as stainless steel, galvanized steel, or aluminum). All installations must comply with local safety codes and gas regulations. Do NOT use PVC or CPVC plastic materials. B-vent (double-wall) or single-wall metal vent pipes are recommended. However, single-wall vent pipes must NOT pass through walls or ceilings made of combustible materials (such as wood or insulation). So you can base on your installation setup, find suitable venting parts in hardware stores like The Home Depot or Lowe’s. 4. Why am I getting an E2 error code after installation? E2 usually indicates low gas pressure. Common causes include: Insufficient gas supply、Air still in the gas line、Low tank pressure (especially in cold weather).
