The beads are natural. The color is not. These are not natural chalcedony. Does that matter? These beads are probably a dyed snowy quartz, whose translucency matches these beads well. Chalcedony is also a form of quartz, so the description isn't an outright lie. The lavender color is lovely and compliments oranges very well. The lavender color is true to color on my monitor. It's fairly vivid and makes for a "fun" pop of color on a necklace. The beads are center drilled and made with quality. None of the beads I got had any flat surfaces, cracks in them, or uneven distribution of color. I used these to pair with smoked, orange opals for rave reviews. I used the remainder of the beads in a necklace with pearl-knotting technique for lovely drape that received much attention. These are perfect! A lovely pastel shade somewhere between actual pumpkin and tangerine. These made a great bracelet that's friendly and warm and looks especially good paired with rose quartz, aventurine, citrine, or prehnite.
