The brightness of my string lights decreased after about 10 minutes for first use. touched the wires, really hot. This is definitely not a 13amp cord; it's more likely a 5amp one.

Stop working Extension cords can last a long time ...... but not this one! I was so shocked when the cord cracked on the 3rd use of the vacuum cleaner that I was worried about the possibility of a "break" and it was a brand new extension cord!
