Received yesterday, its soft and light weight! We wanted this to go on our bed to be a cooler option for the summer months! It looks exactly as pictured (color & texture are great!) My only "complaint" is that it sheds. I washed this with a white summer comforter that I also purchased, and it ended up with blue fuzzies alllll over it! .. so I did have to wash that comforter again! But its very soft, light-weight and a good summer blanket! I typically take an extra blanket with me when we travel; I'll be taking this one when we go to the beach in 2 weeks! ... show more

Didn't seem to shrink much after putting through the wash and dryer. I like the large waffle dimple texture of the material. Breaths well while sleeping in a hot room and feels warm with a thicker blanket on top in colder nights.

I purchased about 5 different top brand waffle blankets from macys and this one is the best. If you are looking for a cotton thick true waffle blanket like same material as a spa robe than this is it. Remember when you first get it, it is flat and rough like all waffle and needs to be washed and dried to get it waffle like and thick. I never dry any clothes but this actually needs to be washed in HOT water and dried. By second time it should be perfect. I added a bit of vinegar in wash and let it soak for 10 min just to hold color like an easter egg. Most people wouldn't do this step but since I need to wash in hot water to get to shrink Im afraid would lose color. Nothing came apart or any such thing to report. I purchased the ice blue and it is a gorgeous very soft color that will not over power a room but compliment it. I ordered gray and navy today and can not report on that yet but a color is a personal preference and not a review situation. I did liked Vara Wang waffle blankets but that was changed to an actual knitted waffle type of blanket and in my opinion not as good as their original as that one pulled apart. This one is better than Vera Wang or other high end brands and surprised I found it on amazon. The ice blue is not a baby blue but a color that could go to any gender. This is perfect all year. Not as warm as a sherpa for winter but still good to cuddle up with and excellent spring and summer where not too hot. I went through a fur faze but the dry cleaning or temperamental cleaning and drying made me change to ones that the more you wash and dry the better they get. fabric softener not necessary but will help . I prefer to always have a clean blanket instead of waiting unit "it gets dirty enough" to pay for dry cleaning. YOU CANT GO WRONG as long as what you want is same material as the thick spa robes ... show more

I'm an orange person. I love it. I love that I found a waffle blanket in a color I like. The price was fair, it fits well on my bed. I have not found any issues with shedding. It's a nice light blanket for warmer weather and I sleep well with it on my bad.
