This is almost indistinguishable from what I bought from Walmart a couple of years ago. The level of sheerness is the same I couldn't read my yardstick numbers through it, yet it should let in plenty of light as curtains. I measured it and it came to six or fewer inches off (and that could have been my error), so I'm very pleased with this purchase. No more cat destroyed mini blinds for me :)

I received my order yesterday as expected. I ordered the 10 yard option, in natural, for $36.99. I was very hesitant to purchase this muslin because the price was only $3.69 a yard, but I figured I could always return it if I didn’t like it. To my surprise, the fabric looks nice and it has a great feel to it. I’m pleased with the quality because my intent is to use it as my background fabric in a couple quilts. The reason for only giving to 4 stars is because upon opening the package, which was double wrapped nicely in plastic, the fabric had an immediate odor that is very strong and unpleasant. I was not intending to wash it until the quilts were finished, but now I will have to wash it before using it to make sure the smell does not linger before giving the quilts as gifts.
