Works great for extra light just to do simple things like fix your eyebrows and put on lashes, but also good for taking pictures and using when doing extensions on clients. 10/10 recommend! Worth the money for sure and has 3 different settings.

This is the first ring light I have used and I think that if I were to need/use one more often I'd rather get a better one. The lighting has 3 color settings and you can control the dimness/brightness of each color which is very helpful. The cord is quite long - another plus. What I really didn't like about it is that while I was testing the adjustments for the angles with the screw tabs, it seemed to not hold well. I had to tighten it up many times. So, I guess this would be good for occasional needs especially if it is just a simple set up and no need to adjust angles and such too much. Being able to put the phone vertical or horizontal is a plus also.

I use this light to photograph items for sale online, and it works well, giving even bright lighting without glare or specular reflections from the item being photographed. I haven't taken much advantage of the full RGB functionality in this role, but I do adjust the color-temperature a bit to get pleasing results depending on what I'm photographing. Comes with a cell phone clamp holder, which you can flip around to use in portrait or landscape mode, or remove it and use the stand with a small DSLR or other camera fitting a standard 1/4" mount. The included stand is reasonably robust for what it is, though the small area of the folding tripod legs makes it a little prone to tipping if one isn't careful, especially with a big, heavy and likely expensive camera attached.
