The main reason I purchased this unit over other units was that it advertised a 15lbs wax capacity. In reality, it can hold 10lbs of wax with 1lb of fragrance and remain safe. You could push it to 13lbs of wax if you wanted to have liquid wax filled to the brim of the pot, but that begins to introduce safety concerns and spillage. The temperature gauge is in Celsius, which isn't a problem, but it is wildly inconsistent. For testing purposes, I set the dial to 90 and left it there there while measuring the actual temp occasionally. The temp ranged anywhere from 70 to 105. Understanding that temp variations are common as all heating units turn on and off to regulate temp, this range is too much and unpredictable. That said, if you are able to stand there and continually monitor the wax (which you should do anyways) and adjust the knob as needed, this works well for about 10lbs of wax. It melts the wax super fast, is easy to use and easy to clean. I've already made 90lbs of wax with it (204 candles) and have had no real complaints other than the capacity issue.

This wax heater is great- I’ve been making candles in a regular canister and so I was very limited in how many I could make. Now I can make them in bulk and it comes with wicks, labels, and a stirring spoon. Can’t wait to make another batch!

The first thing that caught my attention was the compact design of the wax melter. It fits perfectly on my crafting table and doesn't take up much space. I can melt a significant amount of wax at once and allowed me to make more candles in less time. The temperature controls are precise and responsive. I highly recommend it!

Honestly, I can’t say whether the product works well or not. It was delivered with so many missing parts it was totally non-functional and I was forced to return it because I could not get a response .

This is my 3rd. I replaced my first due to thermostat issues. The second quit working after two days, but I no longer had box so unable to return. Third one shuts off before temp is reached and then won’t turn back on for several minutes. It eventually hits the right temperature. I know this one won’t last long either. They are not well made. When I replace this one, I will spring for a digiboil.

I really liked this the first time I used it, however it has already stopped working after using it only 3 times. The temperature gauge is not working properly and all my lights have stopped working. I'm hoping you can replace it with a working unit. I only was able to use it 3 times. Thanks
