This review is for the brown warm white. Received these in two days. Much brighter than I was expecting but not in a bad way. Most solar lights will not light up a walkway like these. They were super easy to install. Just remove the plastic insulating the battery and push in the ground. The lights eliminate an approximated 5ft circle around them. We spaced them 68in apart and got nice coverage of light. I’m so happy happy to come home in the evening and be able to see where I’m walking. I will be purchasing more to continue around the rear of our home. The first picture was right after installing around dusk when they first turned on and the second was around 8:30pm. I’d definitely recommend these and will provide updates if anything changes. ... show more

They are dim enough not to disturb neighbors and create great "spot" lights. One out of the 20 I got was defective. It came out of the box with a harsh flashing but has become a subtle flicker later in the night when the battery is losing juice which i find fine. Also, 3 do not light up sometimes until you bop them on the head. And lastly, just so you know, they all put off different amounts of light. This probably has to do with the amount of sun they receive. All things considered, a ten pack of workable lights for $30ish is great value based on what I have seen. Giving 4 stars just because of the defective one and the "bopping" situation. ... show more

I was at the DollarTree before these path lights arrived from Amazon. I saw that they had their non-seasonal path lights out for sale and for a split second I questioned my Amazon purchase. I thought to myself “I could have picked up 10 lights for less than half the price”. When these light arrived I unboxed them and realized that they are much more attractive than the Dollar store ones and much sturdier. Well worth paying a little more than double per light! Assembly was simple. A matter of pulling out the stake that is pre-inserted upside down in the post and then attaching the light portion. I noticed that one light was already on as it came out of the box (and I will get into my assumption on that shortly). Easily installed along the edge of the grass. I looked out back after night fall and saw that only one light was lit. I was bummed. Referred to the little paper insert (which I hadn’t previously looked at) and saw mention of “insulation strip removal”. I didn’t even consider having to remove anything to activate the battery because of that one light that was already on when I first opened the box. These lights are cheap. They satisfy that requirement. Less than 7 out of 10 worked out of box after charging 9 hours in direct sunlight. Nothing worked on the other three. I used new charged batteries, new batteries and 10 hours in direct sun, nothing worked. One of the seven failed completely after 4 days. I waited 4 months of doing every combination of possible causes and fixes, but nothing. So, 4 months after order 40% of lights failed. I do not recommend these. The final observation: the workmanship is very poor, and the overall quality is very poor. ... show more

Second set purchased. I purchased a set over a year ago and just now had one fail. That is even through a harsh Northern Indiana winter. Purchased the second set to replace the one light that went badlands to add more to our yard. Love them!
