All of my containers arrived unscathed by shipment. They were packed into a non-padded box very snugly. The individual containers had the smaller ones inside of the larger ones with their life on and locked. Additionally there was a protective barrier ( plastic covering) between the two sets of containers which were actually a bit heavy together. But they lock well —the lid and bottom, larger part. I purchased the gray locks which look uniform, minimal and less distracting. These are a good substitute for R_bbermaid or T_pperware or other plastic containers. They should not become misshaped nor discolored with use like the others I just mentioned. They stack well or could be store nesting such as they were originally sent. I think I will get good use of these for advanced meal preparation, my intended use and purpose for their purchase. They are good to store with food anywhere.     • Leakproof and easy to use, but the lids seem like a weak point.

I use these containers on a daily basis for refrigerator storage of leftover food and to carry my lunch to and from work. The large containers are a nice size for large meals I cook allow for leftovers, and the small containers are great for carrying individual servings to work for lunch. When I take my lunch, I put the containers in my gym bag or briefcase and they get tossed around during transport. I have never experienced a leak, and I am impressed by the seals. My one concern is that the lids seem to already be warping some after only 4-6 weeks of use. The lids definitely seem to be a weak point. I only hand-wash my containers and lids, but the centers of the lids are slightly depressed into the containers when I latch them. I will be curious to see how long they retain their shape and leak-proof qualities. ... show more

I hate when you buy a 12 piece container set and you can only use 3. This set is perfect for our spaghetti sauce and the smaller for leftovers.

These are great alternatives to plastic containers that eventually get cracks from repeated temperature exposure during washing and microwaving. They deal very well with temperature changes and shocks. However they're not as physically durable as Pyrex (like most glass measuring cups are made of). I accidentally knocked an empty one off the counter and a big chip of glass came off the edge. Not a deal breaker by any means, but something to be aware of. They don't stack nested very well, which is just the nature of thick-walled containers, but they do well enough. The tops are pretty decent as well. They're actually ok for use in the microwave and dishwasher despite the product listing saying otherwise. The rubber rings have stayed in very well, and the clips stay attached to the hinge without issue. When you first get them you'll probably need to take all the clips off the tops so you can successfully remove the thin plastic film. Many of the tops had the packing film covering the top right into the hinge itself. ... show more

Love the size and rectangular shape (as opposed to round) makes them so easy to stack both in fridge and freezer and in storing in cabinet. Will probably buy more!
