    • Economical hybrid mattress. A little firm, but very comfortable.
Good low-cost mattress. We got this for our daughter when she got a larger bed. We've tried a variety of mattresses over the years, and found hybrids feel better than foam alone for us. My daughter was a little surprised at first by how firm it felt, but she'd been on an old coil mattress, and never slept on foam. After laying on it a little bit (and the foam conforming), she liked the feel. After 2 weeks sleeping on it, she really likes it and has no complaints. From a construction perspective, it is well-made, but definitely on the economical side. The top (white part) is soft, thick, and well-sewn, but the surround and bottom are not nearly as thick and well-sewn. The coils feel a little exposed through the sides and bottom. I don't think it'll be a problem, but that's definitely one way they kept the cost down. I also expected the top foam to feel a little thicker. It's fine, especially for a smaller person, but I imagine a much larger person (like myself) would begin to feel more of the coils after a while on the mattress. The whole thing came rolled up compressed like a typical bed-in-a-box mattress. It does smell like foam when you first open it, but it took less than a day to off-gas and the smell to disappear. ... show more

When I unsealed this mattress, I expected to let it sit for about a week to come to full size and to get rid of any chemical smell, but it was actually ready to go after just a few days. My teenager likes the firmness saying that it is comfortable and supportive without being too hard and I like that it seems to be pretty well-constructed - the edges don't spread, the center doesn't sag, the seams are strong and even, and I don't feel any coils when sitting on it. ... show more

The mattress is very comfortable, with a memory foam and independent pocket spring design, which provides very good comfort and support. The medium hardness of the mattress is especially suitable for people like me who like the feeling of being soft but not too soft. After lying on it, the back is well supported and the spine is well protected. The memory foam design can also help relieve pressure points, so you are not likely to feel back pain when you sleep. The independent pocket spring design makes it almost impossible for me to feel the movement of my partner when he turns over. The motion isolation is particularly good and it is not easy to be disturbed at night. I never could imagine that I would ever refer to a mattress as being pretty cool, but this mattress is exactly that. It came n a densely waited smaller box, then expected. Upon opening the box, I notice that the mattress vacuum sealed twice. One of the seals having done on the mattress itself, any other have been done on the mattress, while it had been rolled. When's up half the second seal? An air was allowed to enter the plastic. The mattress began to expand to its normal size. The mattress itself is great quality. This mattress is super comfortable. It is a good quality, good value, and the medium firmness is very nice to sleep on. I haven't noticed any sinking quite yet, but that's more of a long term thing to watch for.
