I used this on a Big Joe II grill, fit perfectly. Scrape off all the old adhesive first. The gasket comes as one long piece, so I cut it in half, then peeled back about 6 inches of the protective tape and got it started, then pulled the tape off as I worked it around the edge of the grill. Then I used a pair of scissors to trim off the excess. There's a couple of small pieces of tape to joint the two ends. There's also adhesive on the back side, so make sure the adhesive side is down when you join the two ends, then peel off the protective tape and press firmly down. Repeat for the other side, then wait at least 12 hours before using. Took about 30 minutes to complete.

This mesh gasket is fantastic! Installation was a breeze, and it's already performed perfectly through several cooks. For the best results, I recommend removing the lid and using high-heat copper silicone during installation. My only tip for improvement would be to remove the staple from the end of the gasket – this would allow for a much smoother, more pliable seam. I didn't do it this time on either the top or bottom, but I definitely will next time.

Excellent quality. Very thick and great adhesive on the back. If it ever wears out I will certainly buy again. My buy one just to have on hand!!! Fit my Kamado Joe classic 1 perfectly. Had about 6 inches of left over material.

It works great on my Kamado Classic grill. My Joetissierie kit still fits inside my grill and seals nicely when in use. After replacing the top and bottom seals, I had approximately one foot of material remaining.

This gasket replacement is a big improvement over the original felt gasket that came with my Kamado grill. The quality is much better—thicker, more durable, and provides a tighter seal, which helps with temperature control and efficiency. Installation was straightforward, though it did take some time to remove the old gasket completely and ensure a clean surface. Once installed, it fit well and has held up nicely through multiple cooks. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that I wish it came with a bit more adhesive or clearer instructions, but overall, it’s a great upgrade. If you need a reliable replacement, this is definitely worth considering!

Bought for my Kamado Joe, large size. Took me about 20 minutes to clean the BBQ and after being nervous this want going to work was pleasantly surprised. Top and bottom took me less than 10 minutes to get on. Works perfectly and after a couple months of heavy use ( we cook at 1200 degrees!) they look like new, work perfect with a good seal and very low cost for what you get. Highly recommend!
