  • The smaller diameter 1-3/16" O.D. (Outside diameter) flexible dust collection power tool hose moves freely when connected to your power tools and vacuum. This gives you the ability to plug into different tools to add dust collection at a moments notice. The hose and its specialized fittings work with multiple power tools, workshop vacuums, jigs and other tools around your woodworking shop or work shop.
  • The small rubber fitting threads on to the end of the hose and is ideal for connecting random orbital sanders, palm sanders, biscuit joiners or any other power tool with smaller dust collection ports. The small thread-on rubber fitting has a 1 inch I.D. with a 1-3/16 inch taper up to 1-1/4 inch O.D. This kit will also work with popular tools like the K4 and the K5 Pocket Hole Jig. Using this hose with your tools will keep your shop cleaner and can be quickly coiled up for easy storage
  • The large thread-on rubber fitting has a 1-1/2 inch I.D. with a 1-13/16 inch O.D. which works on many other power tools. The rigid plastic vacuum Plug-in Adaptor has a 2-1/4 inch taper up to 2-5/16 inch O.D. The adaptor is designed to plug into most standard workshop vacuum ports. The Plug-in Adaptor conveniently threads onto the power tool hose so it will never slip off!
  • A tapered rubber adaptor with a ribbed end is included and had a 34 I.D. The outer diameter tapers from 1-9/32 down to 1-1/4. The ribbed end ensures a snug fit. The other rubber adapter with a ribbed end has a 1-1/4 I.D. and a 1-5/8 O.D. Both fittings are threaded on the opposite for a perfect fit on to the included hose
  • Included inside the box: 1 each ten foot long 1-3/16 inch O.D. small diameter flexible hose, 2 each small flexible rubber thread-on fitting, 2 each rubber adaptors with ribbed ends and 1 each Plug-in Adaptor for shop vacuums that will allow you to connect the hose to most commercial or residential workshop vacuum ports. At first I didn't understand how to use them, but once I figured it out, they made my work so much easier when I work indoors. A couple items need a little ingenuity or duct tape to get a snug fit, but once it's set up, I can switch to different tools very quickly. My DeWalt dust collector shop vac has a good hose, so I cut this hose up into 4 sections , each with a different adaptor in it. And one adaptor on the DeWalt hose, so all four sections of hoses fit. One of the adaptors even threaded perfectly onto the neck of a Dove shampoo bottle I had used to replace a lost dust attachment on my metabo orbital sander! ... show more

I wanted a little better dust collection than the stock "bags" give on my sanders. This kit was a good price and came with several adapters. The hose is decent enough quality. It has enough flex so that it's not too cumbersome but also doesn't feel like it's about to collapse. The adapters screw on to the end of the hose (reverse thread) to make them easy to change out. There was an adapter included that fits my Ryobi PCL406 and another one that fits my Ridgid R2601, along with a couple I don't need at this time, so I'm happy there. My only complaint is that the adapter that goes to the shop vac has a male end on the 2" side. That allows plugging directly into most shop vacs, but Ridgid uses a proprietary locking connection, and it won't work with those. Fortunately, I had a 2" female to female adapter laying around so I could connect it to a 2" hose rather than into the vac itself. It would be nice if they included one in the kit though. Be aware if you have a Ridgid vac you might need to make a trip to the box store or add one to your cart. Overall, I am happy with the kit. Hose seems good quality, standard shop vac type. Screw on connectors work well. The connectors don't have much stretch and the sizing seems smaller than stated, so it's a gamble if they actually fit on your tools.

Used this on an older harbor freight vacuum with a 2.25-inch inlet. So far so good seems like it will last quite a while. As of right now I would repurchase if needed for another vacuum.

Like the fact that I can change the fittings on the hose anytime I want. Overall the hose quality is good but not great, but being able to adapt the fittings however you need is a real lifesaver.

This seems like a good quality product, and it is as described. I write this as a caution to anyone hoping to use it with standard 1 1/4" vacuum tools: They tell you to pay attention to their dimensions, and they aren't lying. The adapter that they say tapers up to a maximum OD of 1 1/4" does exactly that - it goes to a MAXIMUM of 1 1/4". Unfortunately, my vacuum tools taper from something less than 1 1/4 to something slightly more than that, so when I try to attach them to this adapter, the tool bottoms out on the adapter shoulder before it seals. I was hoping to use this to give myself a little extra hose length, but it just won't work for me. ... show more
