It really works great! I wasn’t sure if the strap would stay in place but it has worked so well since I put it on my son’s twin beds. Along with purchasing a king size mattress pad, I installed the twin to king insert and now his bed is actually more comfortable than mine. No more of the annoying wedge between each bed, the insert stays perfectly in place and I can move the 2 beds as one bed when I’m making his bed in the mornings. Great item, would definitely purchase again if necessary. The wedge is very soft and cushioned, with adding the mattress pillow top protector, there’s no uneven gap in the twin - to king bed at all. Ok, so this was a great idea. Putting it on needed 2 people and was a bit tedious but not overwhelming. It however doesn't stay all the time. I have a split king, and it will fall into the hole a lot which has become a bit annoying at times (hence the star drop). Now, it does work overall well, just once in a while it drops and makes a bigger hole and my dog falls into it. She will stay and sleep in the hole which makes it hard to move around the bed. Now, you will have to take the sheet off to then fix it again which is also tedious I have toyed with the idea of doing 2 twin sheets and putting it on top to see if that works better. Overall, it's a good solid idea but I am not sure how feasible it is for if you have littles, or dogs or spouses that move around a lot. If you sleep in one spot and never move by all means do it up!

After much research, I decided to purchase this product. The product worked and kept the beds together. I recommend putting a mattress topper over the top to make it smooth out the mattresses.

My wife and I purchased a split-king bed: 2 full-sized foam mattresses on individual adjustable frames. After a couple of years, we decided that we didn't like the chasm between us and we rarely used the adjustable feature. I was able to set both frames to a single control and got this strap/wedge combo. We love it!! The wedge fits nicely with the bed and one of use usually ends-up sleeping on it. There's no noticeable difference between it and the mattress once I put on a mattress protector and sheet. The strap is wider than others I saw, and it holds tightly, even after using the adjustable feature of the bed. 100% satisfied and happy with this purchase!

I HATE this thing. I cannot imagine anyone keeping this product for any reason other than being too lazy to return it. It is genuinely 10x worse than not using anything as it creates a giant lump on the bed. I even tried to use it under a THICK foam pad and a mattress pad and it still just made things worse. I had the best luck with just the pad and the mattress protector. Returning.

The bridge gets pushed in between the beds; it's not strong enough. The ratchet straps are too slick to be held by the ratchet. The beds come apart and there is a gap. We need a new product. I scoured the internet for a good twin-to-king bed bridge and this was the best option but it is insufficient.
